Bifurcations in dynamical systems, basic examples. Definitions of local and global bifurcations. Saddle-node bifurcation, Andronov-Hopf bifurcation.  Two-codimensional bifurcations. Methods for finding bifurcation curves, the parametric representation method.  Structural stability. Attractors. Chaotic dynamical systems, the Lorenz equation.
